About This Copy

This is the fourth, 25th Anniversary Edition, published by KoPubCo in August 2006. The copyright page traces the work from the first edition issued by Anarchosamisdat Press in Los Angeles in 1980 through the KoPubCo second edition of 1983 and the Foundation for Social Justice memorial edition of 2004.

Samuel Edward Konkin III’s concise manifesto presents agorism: a libertarian strategy centered on counter-economics, voluntary exchange, and the growth of peaceful institutions outside state control. This anniversary edition also preserves critiques of the manifesto by Murray N. Rothbard, Robert LeFevre, and Erwin S. Strauss.
