About This Copy

This is the first printing of the 2009 fifth edition from Pearson Prentice Hall. It is a heavily illustrated textbook, with color photographs, timelines, maps, diagrams, and reference material covering Roman art from its Etruscan predecessors through Constantine.

Memories & Connections

I probably should not still have this book, but I am partial to the memories of that class. It is also a color picture book, which is always nice when working with books about art.

The book surveys roughly thirteen centuries of Roman painting, sculpture, architecture, and decorative art, from Etruscan precedents through the reign of Constantine.
